i miss the HEAT...

Well....my days here are getting better each week.....atleast i would like to think so....
last friday i went to the overseas christian fellowship meeting....it was good....the fact that everyone was asian there...made me feel right at home....everyone was friendly and nice...everyone talked with the msian slang...which made me even more comfortable....its hard to talk to aussies...cos they tend to talk really fast and sometimes i havent got a clue wat they are saying.....
then last night i went to the night service at my aunts church...this serivce has more youths...so again i met more ppl....well, not alot but enuf to make me feel welcomed.....met the drummer.....fuuuyuuhhh.....darn cute la....like the ken barbie dolls.....really tall....macho looking....blond hair....friendly....but sadly taken....hahahah....not surprised there anyway.....
yesterday was the first time i drove in adelaide.....the speed limit here in 60....which is really hard to maintain.....but the ppl here are patient....they dont honk u.....not like in kl......
oh well...so far i guess things are ok....classes are ok....alot of reading to do tho....but i guess i shouldnt complain....

aussie rules

Man....its been centuries since i've blogged....sorry to those who have been checking out my blog and failed to read any new news about me....
I'm finally here in adelaide....cant believe it...the place is great...the people are darn friendly and nice....well, some...
staying with my aunt and her husband and his nephew....iv got my own room which is pretty cool.....i like my aunts house...its very cosy and nice....she has this nice backyard....or garden....so far since i came...we've had 2 bbqs in her backyard...and another one at a frens house.....bbqs here are popular...esp during summer....kinda sick of it already....hahha....
the weather here is ermm....not too bad.....some days its hot and dry....but windy....got abit burn because of the sun....when its hot is really hot....my back has gone abit darker now i suppose.....
classes started this week.....so far its ok....surviving thru....trying to get adjusted to uni life.....its so much different than school life....miss school loads....miss going for recess....miss hanging out with schoolmates....miss all the teachers.....uni is tough....plenty of work....everything has to be done by yourself.....nothing is spoonfed....wev got to plan out our own timetable too.....
frens here are hard to make....cos there isnt a specific class that i am in....like not in school whereby everyday u go into class with the same people....here...everyday u go into the lecture hall sitting at a different place....beside different ppl....but praise GOD iv got 2 frens who are in the same course as me whom i have some classes with so i sit with them.....the first year...most of the classes have a mixture of pharmcy....biotech...lab med...food and nutrition students....
been going to my aunts church which i really like...the service is short and sweet.....the sermons are pretty good....havent gone for the youth service tho...but will check that one out....but i did meet 2 youths from the church....kate and sam..(who is btw...quite cute...hahah)
ooooooooo.......there are heaps of cute aussie blokes here......so adelaide isnt so bad....hahhaa......the girls here have the most amazing complexion.....so smooth.....so nice......
shopping here isnt so bad too.....alot of cheap places.....i went to this garage sale....oe shed sale as they call it.....and bought a pair of boots....4 mags...2 books....2 pic frame...and a beach short....everything cost 2.90 aussie.......we're going again this sat to another sale....hahaha.......
well i ugess it'll take time to really get adjustd to lif ehere.....i cant force myself too much.....just gotta take it easy.....and soon i'll be back with an aussie accent...and maybe an aussie bf....hahahhahaha.......now that'll be the day...
oh yeah....here..soccer isnt popular....but 'aussie rules' is.....its like rugby but more exciting and interesting......plus it doesnt bore you like soccer does...hahha...sometimes

i just luuuvree camerons weather.....has been suuny but yet cooling...the wind has been blowing....keeping things cool and nice...totally awesome....praise GOD for such lovely weather...
anyway...today. ermm....wat happened today....i wonder....seriously i can't remember....
ermmer mmm.....ermmm....double ermm.....oh yeahh.....pack some stuff this morning....mum weighed my luggage....thank goodness it weighs less than 30kg..which is the max weight allowed....but then i haven't finished packing...there are still more stuff to fit in....oh boyy.....i guess when i'm really done...its gonna weigh more than me....hahah....so hard to decide wat goes with me and wat stays.....
today i had a very healthy lunch.....a bowl of 1 mango.....1 guava...cut up....and some chopped carrots...cucumber..and lettuce....with some mayo + ketcup......so good....hahah....sounds weird but i din have any tummy problems after that....
went to town with mum to do some errands.....checked the exchange rate and it still hasn't blady gone done....ergggghhhhhhh........
went to the photo shop to get some pics developed....had to wait half an hour for it....spent that half and hour..at a indian restaurant with mum....had a good and nice talk with her....nothing serious or personal.....just mother-daughter bonding.....hahahha..love her bits....
watched american idol...was pretty annoyed at the begining and end cos they cut out the part where the person sang.....and it seems that they were good...bummer...
and i forgot what happened after that.....ahhhh....probably nothing much of anyones interest.....

i'm so into baking and cooking now....i made pineapple tarts yesterday for my mum...spent a whole lot of effort and time making time....there was so much work involved...but it was all worth it cos my bro said that it tasted good and he has been eating it so thats a good thing...hahahah....
all was well and i was feeling happy with myself for doing something useful then disaster striked.....the table which had the container containing me tarts fell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and everything on it dropped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!all my tarts were mushed and crushed into bits....arghhh...but thankfully some survived the devastating ordeal....
its been a boring day today...in the morning i watched the scond cd of fighting temptation....its a very good movie...i recommend it..then went out for brunch with my parents...had my fav chapati at my fav indian restaurant..they have the softest....tastiest chapati ever....then went to my old school..met up with two of my fav teavhers....my english teach Mr. Kana...and my bio teacher...Pn. Maimun...chatted with them for awhile....they were great teachers....clicked with them well...then went back home forgot wat i did next.....waited to be asked by my bro to sent himand my sis for golf practises.....came back and watched american idol..love that show..had homemade pizza for dinner ...was excellentei......
then my whole family watched the repeat of american idol....damn funny la....had soem good laughs...
anyyway like i said...i had a boring day.......*snickers*

...its been too long...

its been ages since i've writtne in my blog....my blog is getting kinda mouldy....but then i din really bother to write cos i thought that no one would read it but today i found out that someone did....so there is hope for my blog..hehehe
lets see ...whats been happening...
well...been bz getting ready for aus....preparing myself by sleeping heaps....laying on the couch..staring into space.....filling my brain with rubbish from the idiot box....eating like i was in starvation for a year.....hahha....all this preparation hasn't been doing me any good...sadly...
started packing my clothes.....been packing...and repacking...packing and repacking....so hard to fit all the clothes in....was told to reduce...thats kinda hard to do....a girl needs lotsa clothes!
was at a wedding last weekend.....was really good...enjoyed myself alot..especially getting to meet old frens....so happy to see daniel and jessie finally getting married.....and so thankful to have frens like prissy...hey gurl, thanks for letting me stay with you....had a blast...cept for that night...couldn't sleep well...u la...keep pulling the blanket....and leave me freezing to death!!!
i was very proud to wear the dress my mother made for me during the dinner....received alot of compliments.....love it alot.....
first time i put on so much make up....thank goodness i din luk like a monster....was afraid i had on too much make up.....
2 more weeks left here in camerons....time passes really fast.....i guess i'm excited about going.but sad about leavin home and family and frens......but i realy hope to grow more mature mentally...emotionally and spiritually there...hahaha...sounds so deep....but yeah.....
oh well....tired now....

...i baked!!!...

Today was the first time i made a cake...all by myself......well...erm..except when my mum help whisk the egg whites...hehahh..i made my fav cake.......CHEESECAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....yum yumm......
i'm glad that my day was abit productive compared to the previous days....doing nothing but feed my brain with rubbish from the idiot box, exercise my fingers by chatting on msn, and simply admiring and examining the walls of my home......
the offer letter from the uni i'm going to came today....so from now on...there will be lots ofthings that needs to be settled....things are kinda in a rush....which wasn't according to plan but can't complain....really feeling bad....i donno why....just thinking about how much my parents have to spend....its definately not cheap to go over...but i guess i just have to work hard and help them out....and make them proud and of course trust in the LORD as He is our provider.....
my sis got her tooth pulled out today cos she'll be getting braces.....so she is suffering right now but the pain doesn't stop here...hahah.....i heard that it hurts real bad when the braces is put on.....but i guess looking pretty does come with a price....
tomorow i'll be going down to ipoh to renew my passport....and hopefully will be able to get some cloth...for my dress...for daniels wedding....

...FINALLY....

Its been ages since i've last written my blog....been extremly lazy and i guess nothing exciting or interesting has been happening....maybe there were a couple of fun occasions but i can barely remember any plus my fingers can only type a certain amount of words....pure laziness...in short...
anyway one good thing that i can write about is....that my application to study in Uni SA, Adelaide has finally been approved.....YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1that means i'll be leaving soon in feb after chinese new year.....sigghhh......
thus, begins the whole process of packing....shopping....getting my visa done....medical checkup...and all that jazz......
i gues i'm pretty excited but anxiousness is hiding somewhere in the corner.....everything is gonna be different.....everything is gonna be new..

it feels so hard....cos after i finish STPM....all i've been doing is laze around....shopping....relazing..and now i'm back to studying.....and laboratory medicine doesnt' sound easy to me....hoping an dpraying that i'll get back into the momentum and start working up my brain.....

its good to be back home after a week or so in kl...had a great time in kl too...hanging out with frens....going shopping...or should i say window shopping...its so hard to spend less...hahaha....saw so many nice things that i would love to have bought but i know i've got to cut down on my spending.....was nice to see the yong's again....chuan jii looks so mature and so manly now....

new years day wasn't so bad....ended up in zhi yoongs place...playing cards and mahjong....whats wih mah jong la.....these ppl have started a mahjong centre....seems that they play every night..wel maybe not every night.....but occasionally....well mahjong is good...without the gambling bit......keeps the brain working and arms moving....builds up brain pwer and muscles..hahaha...

anyway hope today will be good.....that i'll have something productive to do like clean my room and start clearing stuff and packing mythings.....errrrggggghhhhhhhh....."LAZINESS, PLEASE LEAVE ME!!!!"
